Edison is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Edison is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Greens are terrible. Its only 2 stars because the staff was nice and atleast the putting greens were serviceable. There isnt even a single place on the course i can call a fairway itβs literally only rough which is also terribly maintained. The tee boxes are genuinely awful. One of the par 4βs tee boxes was roped off and turned into a par 3. This course has so many par 3βs its crazy. Could only use my driver on 3 holes(you can use it on 4 if your driver is under 240 and your hybrids or woods cant go that far). Super weird course layout(frankly entirely unenjoyable) the course should be rated even easier. Iβve had more enjoyable experiences playing on the worst government owned courses in nyc. They claim its 18 holes but book out the time where your second go around should be. They dont even have different flags for the second go around. I wouldnt play here for more than 10-15$.

Bad fairways, course was felt all over the place with its odd layout, holes are near the road for a loud environment. Got new pants dirty from sitting in the seating area outside of clubhouse. Overall not a great experience and wouldnβt go again.

Called to ask about prices to ride and play 18 for 3 people midday on a Monday and I was told that it came out to $46 per person, I show up and they charged me $170 and told me that it was $40 per cart. They presented us with last second fees well after we could choose another golf course. Course is mediocre and is just the same nine holes twice for anyone confused. I would NOT have chosen Plainfield West 9 had they been transparent over the phone

Greens are immaculate!. Fairways and bunkers arenβt the best, and course layout a bit weird.. id play here again knowing the layout now. I knew to keep driver in the bag for everything except first 2 holes (even those not necessary). When I play here again I may change my ratingπ. Course was BACKED UP!. I had no time for 18 so only got in 9.. Starter was a cool guy.. and guy in the clubhouse was also a cool guy. Two young ladies in front of us who apparently were the granddaughters of the owner or something of the nature, STRIPING THEM DOWN FAIRWAYS. My group couldnβt keep up (not because of me)π. All in all great experience and Iβll be back!ππΎββοΈππΎββοΈ

This course offers very affordable rates, seems to always have open tee times, and can't beat hot deals (Golf Now). The course is surprisingly well groomed because of its big brother country club across the street (Plainfield East). Though it plays on the shorter side and a little rough around the edges in certain spots, has 3 short Par 4s (1 being driveable at ~235 yards),and is a par 66 (if playing 18), it offers decent variety and challenge. Very low-key vibes, nice layout/design, friendly and chill staff, and good for medium to high handicappers like myself to work on their games without forking up big bucks, the crowded tee times and hassle of the neighboring courses. Never dissapoints! For bragging rights: Almost aced hole 7, 175 yard downhill par 3. π
